The database creates sqllite files of each day that can be exported to CSV files and subsequently imported into excel for easy manipulation.
SQL commands may be executed on the database to extract specific information as required. For example above shows routing information at Bathhampton Junction and the count of train movements.
Future development may include the ability to interrogate this data to provide full routing information for each train movement. Presently Open Rail data does not provide sufficient routing information to be generally useful. Though train routing data can be applied to many sights.
